“What’s lovely is loads and loads of people have found they can relate to me.”
Ranvir detailed how she initially struggled working with Giovanni: “He doesn’t accept anything less than what you can do.
“He is very challenging in the training room. He has tattoos that say ‘born to win.’
“You are duty bound to work hard. I found it very challenging.”

She went on to reveal: “He had to change the way he was training me.
He told his fans: “The reason why no-one s heard from me is because I wasn t going to do it. I thought that we d done such an amazing job for the charity the last two years.
“I really didn t want to do it unless I felt we could do it justice. I guess that s what I meant when I gave that interview last year and I said ’only if the right idea came along , an idea I thought would give the charity the justice it deserves.
“I didn t know if I could, and then this year hit didn t it… the pandemic… and the Trussell Trust told me that in the first six months of the pandemic they handed out 1.2 million food parcels.”
“I would say she could, she looked better than some of the pro girls!” husband James added.
“She could have been a professional Latin and Ballroom dancer.
“Maisie is still so young, but proving her talent every week.”

However James admitted he is torn over whether Maisie should win the series or HRVY and Janette Manrara, who he is friends with.
“She deserves to be in that final,” he remarked. “I’m kind of torn because I love Maisie and Gorka, but I’d also love to see Janette win as well.”
